Also, some players have been players from a stable background who got the opportunity to get trained under good coaches. Every Indian child at least once in his life dreams of becoming a cricketer and representing India in international cricket. In some cases, the players are seen focusing only on cricket leaving the education qualification behind. However, there have been few instances where a highly educated cricketer has been seen playing for the country.

Although it’s a fact that cricket treats everybody equally and it does not judge players based on caste, race, or religion. It doesn’t matter from which part of the country a player is from. Highly educated or less educated, good in studies or bad in studies it doesn’t matter. If he/she has capabilities then it’s a guarantee they will get the recognition.

The player is none other than Aavishkar Salvi. Meanwhile, Aavishkar Salvi made his International debut for India in the match against Bangladesh in 2003. In that match, he performed exceptionally and bagged 2 wickets.

Aavishkar Salvi was able to play over 50 first-class and List A matches. Also, he played 19 T20 games. However, he was unable to replicate his domestic performance in International cricket. Meanwhile, He was able to represent India in only 4 international games and all 4 were ODI games. Other than this Salvi was once a part of team Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2009.

Aavishkar Salvi has been labeled as ‘India’s most educated cricketer’. As he has completed his PhD in Astrophysics. Notably, it is work-related to space studies. An Astrophysicists works for ISRO and NASA. So Avishkar Salvi is the player who holds the highest education qualification among cricketers and not Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman, or Rahul Dravid.
