At 43, Yuvraj Singh put on a sensational show for India Masters in the International Masters League (IML) T20 2025 semifinal against Australia Masters. The match is being played on Thursday, March 13, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
Batting at number four, Yuvraj made an instant impact after arriving in the seventh over, smashing his second ball for a six over long-on. He took on Steve O’Keefe in the 11th over, hitting a four and a six, but his most explosive display came in the 13th over, when he hammered Bryce McGain for three sixes, reaching his half-century in just 26 balls.

The all-rounder played a blistering knock of 59 off 30 balls at a strike rate of 196.67, featuring seven sixes and a solitary four.
Yuvraj Singh’s half-century powers India Masters to a total of 220
Australia Masters won the toss and opted to field first. Steve O’Keefe provided an early breakthrough, dismissing Ambati Rayudu for five in the second over. India Masters’ skipper Sachin Tendulkar then built a 46-run stand with Pawan Negi before the latter departed for 14.
Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh followed up with a 47-run partnership off 29 balls for the third wicket. Tendulkar scored 42 off 30 balls, hitting seven boundaries, while Yuvraj delivered a powerful 59 off 30 balls.
Stuart Binny contributed a valuable 36 off 21 balls, including five fours and a six, while Yusuf Pathan chipped in with 23 off 10 balls. In the death overs, Irfan Pathan remained unbeaten on 19 off seven balls, pushing India Masters to a total of 220/7 in 20 overs.
In reply, at the time of writing, Australia Masters were 32/1 after three overs, needing 189 more runs to win, with Shaun Marsh (14) and Ben Dunk (12) at the crease.
