The Chennai Super Kings today will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020. CSK will be hoping to get back on winning ways after losing back to back matches. Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu are now available for selection that will give a significant boost to CSK.

Also, CSK skipper MS Dhoni will create history when he steps on the field against SRH. Dhoni will surpass his CSK teammate and good friend Suresh Raina to become the most capped player in IPL history.

MS Dhoni All Set To Become Most Capped IPL Player

In the last match, Dhoni played his 193rd IPL match and joined Raina with the most appearance in IPL. Now the legendary cricketer will go past Raina and create yet another superior record.

Meantime Raina is currently not a part of IPL 2020 as a result, Dhoni will also become the first player to play 200 IPL matches later this season. Dhoni has only represented the Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiant in his IPL career.

In the 2016 and 2017 season, Dhoni played for the Rising Pune Supergiant when CSK was banned for two years by the IPL governing council. As far his record for CSK as a batsman and skipper is concerned it has been illustrious.

The successful skipper has led CSK to 3 IPL titles in 2011, 2012 and 2018 respectively. Dhoni has led his hallowed franchise in a total of 163 matches in which his team has been on the winning side on 100 occasions.

Meanwhile, as a batsman, Dhoni has scored 4476 runs in his IPL career so far at a strike rate of 138 and a phenomenal average of 42. This year CSK has had a difficult start to the IPL 2020 season.

CSK is currently placed at the bottom of the IPL table and will be looking to bounce back against SRH. Dhoni will have to lead from the front and bat higher so that he gets enough time to make a match-winning contribution.
