Rohit Sharma and his man from Mumbai Indians will take on Delhi capitals in a top of the table clash. Mumbai are placed second on the points table at the moment, while Delhi sits above Mumbai. The winner of this game will edge the other to the top of the table. This is the first time both these teams are facing off each other in this IPL season. Meanwhile, Rohit is chasing a feat of his own in this game.

Sharma has been hot and cold in this IPL so far. In six games so far, the MI skipper has scored two fifties. Rohit Sharma is tied on with Suresh Raina with 39 fifties to his name. One more against Delhi tonight will take him ahead of the former Indian left-hander in terms of most fifties scored by any player in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner is leading that list with 46 fifties to his name. Against Rajasthan Royals, Warner was out for 48 missing yet another fifty by just two runs.

Rohit Sharma just behind MS Dhoni in most IPL Caps list

Rohit Sharma is also ahead of Suresh Raina with 194 IPL matches to his name. He is just behind MS Dhoni who has 197 IPL caps to his name. He has scored 211 runs in six matches in this season so far with two fifties to his name. Mumbai will be hoping to get a big score from their captain, who is one of the highest run-getters in the IPL as well.

Rohit Sharma also got past 5000 runs in the tournament. He now stands at 5109 runs with 38 fifties and a hundred to his name.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya celebrates his 27th birthday today. So far, he has played 11 Tests, 40 ODIs, and 54 T20Is for the Men in Blues and has won many games with his hard-hitting and medium pace. However, Hardik Pandya had a difficult couple of years owing to back injury and underwent surgery last year.
