MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina gave CSK manager Russell Radhakrishnan a moment to remember as they celebrated his birthday within a team gathering in Dubai. The CSK squad is current in UAE where they are gearing up for the second leg of IPL 2021. Within their intense training sessions, the team members found some time out to celebrate this special ocassion.
CSK’s official Youtube channel posted a video of the birthday celebration of Russell. The video went viral and garnered a lot of attention. MS Dhoni was seen n congratulating franchise manager Russell on his special day. He also helped Russell with a bite of the cake and helped himself with a small bite as well.
“Thank you all for your lovely messages and blessings, very fortunate to spend this lovely day with my Brothers,” Russell captioned his post on Instagram.

The franchise has confirmed the availability of Josh Hazlewood ahead of the start of the season. CSK will also be boosted with the availability of Moeen Ali and Sam Curran both of whom was a regular member of playing XI in the first half of the season. Chennai are currently second on the points table with five wins from their first seven games. They lost against Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. CSK and MI kick off the second half of the season on September 19.
31 matches will be played across 27 days at three different venues in the UAE. 13 matches will be played in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah and 8 in Abu Dhabi. Dubai will also host Qualifier one and the final. Sharjah will host the Eliminator and the Qualifier 2. Three-time champions Chennai Super Kings have kickstarted their preparations for the UAE leg of the IPL 2021 at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai.
