Ravi Shastri posted a happy photo with the Indian players as they enjoyed a day off in Pune after a stunning victory in the first ODI against England. The Indian coach and the entire team looked in great spirit and made sure to enjoy in the bio-secure bubble which can bee extremely hectic. By the poolside of their hotel, Shastri joined the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya among others and posed for a smiling photo.

Ravi Shastri on his official account on Twitter posted the photo in which the entire Indian team looked like a family. The players looked in a great mood after a brilliant comeback win against Egland in the first match of the ODI series. The men in blue kept fighting England were going all guns blazing and produced a remarkable turnaround in the middle overs. The team along with Shastri celebrated a memorable win and he on Twitter wrote ‘the pack that stays together.

Meanwhile, talking about the first ODI between India and England the game belonged to two debutants Krunal Pandya and Prasidh Krishna. Batting was when India needed a counter-attacking knock in the death overs Krunal Pandya came to the fore and smashed a half-century in mere 26 balls and took India’s total to 317 runs.

Then in the run chase at one point, it seemed England will finish the match with more than 10 overs to spare. Prasidh Krishna displayed his ability as he picked 4 crucial wickets and completely turned the match in India’s favour. Eventually, India won by 66 runs and now the second ODI between the two sides will be played on Friday from 1:30 PM onwards.
