Its been quite a while since we’ve been smelling that something isn’t right in the Indian set up right since the 2017 Champions Trophy wherein we witnessed the resignation of the then Head Coach of the Indian team Anil Kumble. After which it was reported that during the 2019 World Cup, there was an apparent rift between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli which made quite a news in the public.

The bits of gossip recommending that not everything is great in the Indian changing room or especially between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are doing the rounds for longer than a year at this point and Suryakumar Yadav’s most recent activity via online media has everything except affirmed it that there is definitely something fishy between Rohit and Kohli.

The apparent rumours were solid to the point that Virat Kohli himself needed to subdue them by demanding that everything was well among him and Rohit. Kohli was gotten some information about the bits of gossip when the group was leaving for West Indies just after the World Cup.

This time it’s Suryakumar Yadav who has taken a dig at the Indian skipper Virat Kohli by liking a Twitter post which term Kohli as a ‘Paper Captain’. Even during the IPL, when Mumbai Indians faced Royal Challengers Bangalore we noticed how Suryakumar gave Virat a fine stare while batting which does defy that Surya himself isn’t a big fan of the Indian skipper.

While the world expected that Suryakumar Yadav would make it to the Indian team for the Australian tour, the selectors thought otherwise which is why his name was overlooked from the limited-overs squads. Though a relieving tweet from Ravi Shastri himself might just work in favour of Suryakumar’s selection as he’s asked him to be patient.
