Meanwhile, the final saw a funny moment in the 13th over of the TKR innings, when Zouks skipper Darren Sammy handed the ball to Javelle Glen.

The young leg spinner tried to disturb Darren Bravo’s concentration by doing a zig-zag action just when he was about to deliver his fifth ball. However, to the credit of Bravo, this didn’t deter his concentration and the left-hander smashed a huge six off Glen over square leg. You can watch the video below.

It was a final to forget for the Zouks who lost the track after having a good first 10-over period with the bat. Having scored 79 off the first 10, they lost 8 wickets for 75 runs in the back 10 to be bowled out for 154.

Simmons and Bravo made the chase look easy after TKR lost two early wickets inside the powerplay. TKR skipper saved his best with the ball for the final. He took four for 25 which included key wickets of the Afghanistan duo Mohammad Nabi and Najibullah Zadran.
