Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen has been at the receiving end of some trolling from former Indian southpaw Yuvraj Singh. Both great friends off the pitch are always keen to take the mickey out of each other whenever possible. Both recently took part in the Road Safety World Series that was held in India. Pietersen has reacted after Sachin Tendulkar informed of being COVID positive earlier in the day. 

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter earlier today to inform his followers about him being affected by COVID-19. “I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bat. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All other at home have tested negative. I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all necessary protocols as advised by my doctors,” Tendulkar wrote on Twitter and informed about his status to his fans.

Seeing Sachin’s message Kevin Pietersen reacted to it saying that why are people busy informing about it to the world. Pietersen also wished a speedy recovery to the Little Master. 

“Can someone please tell me, why you need to announce it to the world, that you have Covid?!” he wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh was quick to respond to Pietersen’s tweet catching him off guard in the process. 

 “And how come you thought of this today and not before. Pietersen’s tweet came a few hours after Sachin Tendulkar announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and that he is in isolation at his home. Pietersen was quick to clear the air and wrote that he hadn’t seen Sachin’s news before tweeting.

Kevin Pietersen recetly played the Road Safety World Series in India. The tournament was played to spread awareness about road safety measures and featured some of the biggest names of cricket like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Brian Lara, Sanath Jayasuriya, Tilakaratne Dilshan, Jonty Rhodes to name a few.

Tendulkar recently participated in the Road Safety World Series where he led the Indian Legends to the title. The fans were excited to see Sachin back on the field and embrace the game of cricket once again.
