After a cracking contest in the 1st ODI, India and South Africa will return to lock horns in the second match on January 21 (Friday) at Boland Park in Paarl. The Proteas currently lead the series 1-0, beating the men in blues by 31 runs in the first outing.

South Africa will look to continue the same template with the bat when they take on India in the 2nd ODI. However, they will want to make amends to their death overs that conceded 60+ runs in the final 10 overs against India’s tail of Shardul Thakur and Jasprit Bumrah.

On the other hand, India struggled in the series opener due to their faulty middle-order, who failed to consolidate on the good start by Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli. The visitors will also like to find ways to pick up wickets in the middle overs and not concede too many runs to keep the game under their control.
